It is refreshing to know that there is at least one sensible person in our legislature — Andrew Weaver of the Green party was brave enough to stand up to the B.C. Liberals and publicly refuse to let the government sell out an entire generation of British Columbians with their LNG giveaway.
In my entire life, I have never been involved in politics or been a member of any political party, but last year I joined the Green party as a personal statement of support to a party and person with some integrity, expertise on environmental issues and no ego to buy our votes with decisions and promises that will prove to be harmful and a disaster.
We will no longer be “the greatest place on Earth” if this project becomes a reality. For all our sakes, everyonbe should sign Weaver’s petition.
