Trump could inspire a new Conservative party

Our Liberal Canadian prime minister plans to take a nostalgic trip down to sunnier climes in the Cuban people’s paradise, hanging out with aging human rights-abusing Communist dictators.

Meanwhile, the Donald Trump victory provides a blueprint for constructing a rejuvenated Canadian Conservative party, a real alternative government in waiting, a working Opposition party.

Trump’s Americanist victory produces a hard-to-ignore voice for an anti-globalist (trade protectionist), nationalist (anti-UN), pro-life (anti-abortion), anti-war (non-interventionist), low-tax (pro jobs and prosperity) program, and a pragmatic, much smaller legal immigration regime.

This new mix of time-tested, common-sense policies, all taboo subjects to globalists, is a proven winner, custom-made for a new Conservative party leader, yet to be elected.
