What is with today’s talk show hosts anyway — funny phone calls to the Duchess of Cambridge, et al. Do they keep their brains in their jockstraps? Do they think it’s freedom of the press when they instigate or allow bozos to embrace or intimidate their guests?

Canadian broadcasting used to be known for its civility and intelligence, but I guess that ship has sailed. I am not a big fan of Christy Clark, but that is for political reasons. She is, however, the premier of our province and deserves at least a modicum of decorum while being interviewed. The host taking the call should have said, “I think not,” to the caller and hung up.
