Have you ever taken a look at where we are going?
In 1968, if a person lived in Vancouver and made $10,000 a year, he or she could easily buy a house for between $18,000 and $20,000. West Vancouver was $30,000-plus, and five acres outside of Vancouver was between $5,000 and $6,000. Not bad.
But where have we advanced if a dumpy old shack costs a million dollars or more? Does anyone make half a million dollars today?
Our system stinks. It’s nothing to do with democracy, only greedy capitalism.
