Slash piles provide fuel for wildfires

Has the time arrived for the residents of southern Vancouver Island, especially those in Port Renfrew, Lake Cowichan and Duncan, to consider a class-action suit against the B.C.
Has the time arrived for the residents of southern Vancouver Island, especially those in Port Renfrew, Lake Cowichan and Duncan, to consider a class-action suit against the B.C. minister of forests?

The collusion of this government and previous ones with forest companies allows the massive buildup of slash piles by their careless stumpage system. Fees are not paid on all trees cut, just those sold, which allows wastage of large amounts of wood, which is allowed to dry out in huge slash piles to provide ready fuel for wildfires.

This must stop.
