Re: “Clark trash-talks Seattle soccer team in tweet,” Sept. 22.
Once again, Premier Christy Clark has acted in a puerile and unbecoming way on social media. By denigrating some of the players on the Seattle Sounders soccer team over the weekend by referring to them as “princesses,” she has set a poor example for the people of our province in several ways.
She has shown poor sportsmanship, her remark is sexist by implying that the opposition played like girls and she has misused Twitter to harm relations with our nearest American neighbour by being disrespectful.
Please, someone with the guts to do it, take her cellphone and hide it from her.
