So, we are now governed by a non-elected premier. A “palace coup” has been carried out.
The B.C. Liberal Party was elected by the people. In our electoral system, the government is elected by ridings or “seats.” The popular vote means nothing, except maybe for PR.
The use of a scurrilous no-confidence vote was really low. Sleazy would be a good word. Sad.
The giant picture on the front page was absolutely nauseating. It covered half the page. It was a wildly gleeful, gloating John Horgan. Wow.
I notice that Green Party Leader Andrew Weaver has begun to fade out of the Horgan photos. Horgan should remember that Weaver went “Quisling” once. He could do it again.
Just like U.S. President Donald Trump, Horgan can look forward to a constant paranoia about the real legitimacy of his present ascension. So it goes.
