Re: “Krog runs for mayor and ‘the people of Nanaimo,’ ” June 14.
If anyone wonders why the public doesn’t like or have a lot of respect for politicians, one does not have to look further than MLA Leonard Krog.
He has it both ways when it comes to running for mayor of Nanaimo. Lose and he still has his seat in the legislature, win and we have that much longer to fill his seat.
That way he is offering his aid for his NDP friends by slowing down the potential for another election, one that I am more than sure will see the NDP lose the power Premier John Horgan so desperately clings to.
