Maybe Oak Bay should get letters from CRD

Re: “Esquimalt residents get pitch in the mail to reconsider plant,” July 10. Substitute Oak Bay for Esquimalt. Oak Bay residents should receive letters from the Capital Regional District and Seaterra.

Substitute Oak Bay for Esquimalt.

Oak Bay residents should receive letters from the Capital Regional District and Seaterra. I’m sure that, properly informed, they would take civic pride in helping to protect our marine environment and public health by having the CRD sewage treatment plant on Cattle Point. After all, it is a much larger site. Decor could be decided by Oak Bay residents.

Kudos to Esquimalt Mayor Barb Desjardins for standing up to the bullying tactics of the CRD.
