Gosh, why waste more taxpayers’ money? After being on an hour-and-a-half ferry ride and sitting at the terminals waiting for the ferry, why would people pull over at a visitor centre and spend even more down time when they could actually get all the information they need on the ferry?
I suggest we spend a few extra dollars on the B.C. Ferries setting up tourist information, instead of spending $3 million on a visitor centre that only had 18,280 visitors go through in 2011.
