Canada's greatest strength is its diversity of people with their varying cultures and beliefs. Unfortunately, whether new to this land or not, there will always be the occasional rotten egg.

I wonder what the First Nations people feel when they read the Feb. 2 letter advising newcomers to leave their old beliefs behind when they come here.

Wow, would that have changed our past.
