Isn’t there an unwritten rule that animals who miraculously escape on their way to the slaughterhouse get a reprieve from their deadly destiny?
I’m sure I was not the only one cheering for the two steers as they charged down the highway, just as if they knew what was at “steak.”
Surely there could be found a kindly farmer who would let them peacefully live out their days as reward for their mighty escape. They could be renamed Liberty and Dash.
