Horse carriages should get parking-fee break

Re: “City seeks fee hike for carriages,” Feb. 5.

Instead of increasing parking fees, city council should reduce them to $1 per year.

What are they thinking? Their proposal discourages tourism by making those rides too expensive. Tourism Victoria should step up to the plate and fight this.
