Re: “Auditor decision was a blunder,” Jan. 10.
The editorial is right on, as is Les Leyne’s adjacent column, but there is one point that has not been raised yet.
If Liberal MLA Eric Foster was unaware he had been cited for the spending on his constituency office, then it’s clear he hadn’t read that particular report of the auditor general, and likely hadn’t read any others.
So how does this qualify him to chair a committee that decides whether to reappoint or replace the writer of the reports?
