It was rewarding to see the recognition recently awarded to Green party leader Elizabeth May, this most laudable MP who was named Macleans' Parliamentarian of the Year.
It really is a win-win-win situation. A win for her in itself; a win for British Columbia; a win and cheers for the thinking of all members of Parliament who were able to project their views beyond party lines.
Could it be that, covertly at least, they believe that changes are necessary in the way parliament operates? Let's hope so.
