Re: “Development destroying neighbourhoods,” letter, Oct. 29.
As a born and raised Victorian, I echo most of the thoughts of the letter-writer, as I have watched many beautiful Victoria homes being barged up the Salish Sea to their new sites.
I have found Victoria city council is often willing to listen to concerns, as responses are sent to many of my letters.
My major thought is: “Victoria is known worldwide as the city of gardens. Let’s preserve that image and not become the city of concrete.”
