So now Tarzan is a target for the PCB (Politically Correct Brigade).
Obviously, we need to rewrite all of his books — along with Shakespeare’s plays and anything written in the past few thousand years.
(My father had most of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan and John Carter of Mars books and I read them all when I was about 12 years old. Shame on me.)
Alternatively, we should leave them as they are and credit present-day readers with the intelligence to realize that times and attitudes change.
