Council following wishes of citizens

Ecojustice lawyer Margot Venton apparently fails to appreciate the fact that the mayor and council of Esquimalt are doing exactly what the citizens of Esquimalt elected them to do.

We who live here are not prepared to put up with the construction of a sewage plant on the waterfront and we will be there in person, if need be, to stop any future action.

Capital Regional District board members need to get their heads around the idea that the plant — or better yet, plants — could go on property that would not affect anyone. Stop looking at waterfront.

Move forward — stop backing up.
