Re: “Idle No More rally blocks Coho terminal,” Jan. 6.

Having been away for two weeks, travelling for a long time and being understandably tired, it was disappointing and frustrating to be held up for 80 minutes at the Coho terminal by a protest about which we knew nothing.

We had been warmly welcomed in Vietnam and Cambodia and yet on arriving back home, we were denied entry. I felt embarrassed and sorry for other visitors who shared our predicament and were wondering about the long wait.

When we were finally allowed to leave, the waving and smiles only added insult to injury.
