Now that the Capital Regional District has asked the province to intervene in the sewage debacle, the following possibility exists:
The province may uphold Esquimalt’s zoning decision but still tell the CRD to implement the current plan. That would leave only one option: to build the sewage plant at Clover Point. It’s already zoned for sewage treatment and it’s larger than McLoughlin Point.
I wonder how fast the CRD would propose an alternate plan if that should happen.
