Andrew Coyne uses "near-suicidal wailing" and other pejorative terms to describe those who oppose the treaty as a means to discredit any opposition.
But in his support of the treaty, he neglects to mention its worst part - unlike NAFTA, which can be cancelled by either party with only six months' notice, the China treaty extends to at least 31 years.
Is this in the best interest of Canada and Canadians? I think not.
