This Christmas, why not give your cycling friends and relatives the gift of light and life, a head lamp for their bike? A cheap, battery-operated removable one works great.
When I rode a bike, I had two. Most motorists can see what's in front of them at night. However, even with shoulder checks, it is difficult to see cyclists beside you when you are making a right turn at night in the rain or coming into your path from a side street.
Help the biker install it, as I am positive there are some cyclists dressed in black that are under the impression that motorists can't hit them if they can't see them.
