B.C. should follow Saskatchewan’s example

Re: “SaskPower to replace flawed smart meters,” Aug. 1.

As someone who has been concerned about B.C. Hydro’s smart meters for health, privacy and safety reasons, I was heartened to learn that Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall has pulled the plug on the smart-meter program in his province.

I only wish Premier Christy Clark and Energy Minister Bill Bennett had the integrity and courage to do the same for the citizens of B.C.
