Canadian doctors and Lyme disease

 

 
 
 

An American customs and immigration officer asked us the purpose of our recent trip to Seattle. "To take our son to see a physician for treatment of Lyme disease," my husband answered.

"That's because it is not recognized in Canada," the official responded.

Is it not time for the Canadian medical establishment to re-evaluate its woefully inadequate approach to this disease?
