MANGALORE, India - The family of a nurse found hanging in her room days after she had been duped by a hoax call from an Australian radio station about the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge arrived in India Sunday for her funeral.

The funeral of Jacintha Saldanha is to take place in Shirva, her hometown in southwest India, on Monday.

Saldanha's husband and two children accompanied her body from London to the nearby port city of Mangalore.

Her death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.

Saldanha answered the phone at London's King Edward VII Hospital when the DJs called seeking information about the duchess, who was being treated for morning sickness. Saldanha was tricked into transferring the call to another nurse, who revealed private details about the duchess' condition.
