Jennifer Scherr, Jen and Sara show their enthusiasm. Sister-in-law Shauna Scherr, who submitted the photo, writes: “Jennifer, left, was the top pledge winner for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, but she did not read the fine print and missed the Saturday deadline to be eligible for their Gold Heart Award. ... (Jennifer) had done this walk with family, friends, and co-workers from Island Haircutting in memory of her father, Alan Scherr, who died of a heart attack June 7, 2008, walking the Great Walk in Gold River.” Jennifer raised $2,510 in pledges.
