A 53-year-old Saanich woman is facing charges after two counterfeit American $20 bills were passed at the Tillicum Centre shopping mall.
The most recent incident happened Monday and followed one the previous week at the same business. A suspect was located Monday in the Tillicum Centre area by Saanich police and arrested for fraud.
There is a possibility that more of the bills have been passed around the region, Saanich police Sgt. Steve Eassie said.
The suspect is scheduled for a March 4 court date.
