The country was hit by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake April 25, followed by a 7.3-magnitude quake on Tuesday. The April 25 quake killed more than 8,000 people and left hundreds of thousands homeless. Tuesday’s aftershock caused another 65 deaths and close to 2,000 injuries. The Canadian government will match eligible donations to the Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund until May 25.
