Two people were taken to hospital with stab wounds early Monday morning after an incident at a home near Gorge Road East and Lotus Street.

Police and paramedics responded to calls from the area about 3 a.m.

Residents said up to four people may have been injured.

One young man, who said he saw the whole incident, told the Times Colonist that three people were stabbed after “one guy went crazy.”

B.C. Ambulance confirmed taking two people to Royal Jubilee Hospital with minor injuries.

Residents reported seeing blood on the street in an area cordoned off by police.

Victoria police had not released any details about the incident as of Tuesday evening.
