Ten people will be in the running to fill two vacancies on Central Saanich council.
When nominations closed Friday, 10 people had filed nomination papers. They are: Andrew Caldwell, Alicia Cormier, Adam Gottlieb, Christopher Graham, John Hannam, Susan Mason, James McNulty, Bernie Struck, Bob Thompson and Ryan Windsor.
The byelection was called after two councillors resigned.
Terry Siklenka stepped down in November. He had been granted a six-month paid leave but resigned after media reports that he was living and working in the Cayman Islands.
Adam Olsen resigned his seat in January after winning the nomination for the Green Party of B.C. to run in the Saanich North and the Islands riding in the upcoming provincial election.
The Central Saanich byelection will be held April 13. Advance voting will take place April 3 and 10.
