Two people were taken to hospital this morning after a motorcyclist collided with a pedestrian in Victoria.
The motorcyclist was heading westbound on Yates Street at 9:20 a.m. when it struck a jaywalking pedestrian, said Const. Mike Russell, Victoria police department spokesman.
The motorcyclist lost control of the bike and it struck a car, said Russell. It’s unclear whether the car was moving or parked.
Both the motorcyclist and pedestrian were conscious and breathing when they were taken by ambulance to hospital.
The road was closed earlier but has since reopened to traffic.
