A car crashed into a tree in Saanich on Sunday morning, seriously injuring one person.
In a statement, Saanich police said they received word of the crash in the early morning. A car had left the roadway on Burnside Road and crashed into a tree.
Paramedics and firefighters removed two people, a driver and a passenger. Both were taken to hospital. The passenger’s injuries were reported as serious.
A police collision investigator will work to determine if speed, impairment or any other factors were involved.
