A bike lane is being built along Pandora Avenue.

Traffic lights at three Pandora Avenue intersections will be temporarily shut down as electrical work related to the installation of protected bike lanes is carried out.

The intersections at Quadra, Government and Blanshard streets will be affected.

During the work, traffic will be limited to one lane in both directions, and turns onto Pandora will be prohibited, except for B.C. Transit buses.

Days and times for work:

• Pandora at Quadra — Friday, March 24, 9 a.m.-noon

• Pandora at Government — Tuesday, March 28, 7 a.m. -5 p.m.

• Pandora at Blanshard — Thursday, March 30, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The separated bicycle lanes are being built between Wharf and Cook streets and include new traffic signals for cyclists.

On-street parking, bollards and planters will help separate the bicycle lanes from motorized traffic.
