The accident occurred about 6 a.m. on Sooke Road, near Veterans Memorial Parkway. Police, emergency services and B.C. Hydro crews responded. According to B.C. Hydro, power was restored about 8:30 a.m.
The female driver, the lone occupant in the car, was not seriously injured in the crash, police said.
West Shore RCMP said they are investigating possible charges under the Motor Vehicle Act.
