A theft on the Spirit of Vancouver Island on Saturday morning delayed the ferry about 30 minutes while Delta police dealt with the matter.
The theft happened on the 7 a.m. ferry from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen, said B.C. Ferries spokeswoman Deborah Marshall.
“We delayed the vessel while the Delta police came down to attend,” she said.
No further details were available.
