Tall man exposes himself to male student in UVic Engineering building

A tall man in his mid-20s exposed his genitals to a student studying at the University of Victoria early Wednesday. The incident happened about 1:40 a.m. in a lab in the engineering building, Oak Bay police said. The male student was alone studying.

A tall man in his mid-20s exposed his genitals to a student studying at the University of Victoria early Wednesday.

The incident happened about 1:40 a.m. in a lab in the engineering building, Oak Bay police said. The male student was alone studying.

After the man exposed himself, he tried to have a conversation with the student. The man left without incident after the student told him to leave.

UVic security and Oak Bay and Saanich police responded. Despite a search, the man was not found.

The man had long, tightly curled, dark-coloured hair. He was six-foot-four and about 165 pounds. He was wearing a black rain coat, black sweat pants, and running shoes.

Oak Bay police say that no other similar incidents have been reported.
