B.C. Ferries has cancelled six sailings between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen this afternoon.
"Unfortunately, due to an ongoing issue with one of the Q ueen of New Westminster's controllable pitch propellers, we have cancelled its sailings for the remainder of the day. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience experienced as a result of these cancellations," the corporation said in a statement.
These sailings have been cancelled:
Departing Tsawwassen Terminal
noon
4 p.m.
8 p.m.
Departing Swartz Bay Terminal
2 p.m.
6 p.m.
10 p.m.
B.C. Ferries said: "Customers with reservations on cancelled sailings will be refunded their reservation fee, and they will be accommodated on the next available sailing. These customers need to check-in at the terminal at the check-in time for their original reserved sailing as indicated on their reservation confirmation. This allows the terminal to queue customers in the terminal in the appropriate loading order."
