Saanich school district superintendent Keven Elder will retire next July 31 after serving in his post since 2005.
Elder began his career in 1980 as a teacher in the Saanich district at Stelly’s Secondary School. After serving in teaching and administrative roles in the district, he spent five years as a principal in Campbell River and one year on secondment to the B.C. Public School Employers’ Association.
PFM Executive Search has been hired to help the Saanich school board in recruiting Elder’s successor. — Times Colonist
