The luck of the Irish wasn’t with some St. Patrick’s Day revelers.
Saanich police say they took six impaired drivers off the road Saturday evening, Tweeting: “Maybe those six drivers didn’t think green beer counted.”
The police had set up a roadblock on the Trans-Canada Highway at Tillicum Road.
Victoria police also reported a busy evening Saturday, with more than 80 calls for service.
