Comox Valley RCMP are looking for a 55-year-old man in connection with a shooting in Courtenay last week.
Patrick Hanlon is wanted in connection with a May 25 incident on Panorama Crescent in which someone was assaulted and a vehicle damaged by gunshots.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Hanlon is charged with assault with a weapon and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
He is white with unkempt brown hair and blue eyes. He is about five-foot-seven and 135 pounds and unshaven, with a yin-yang symbol tattooed on his upper right arm.
Police say Hanlon is believed to be armed and could be violent and should not be approached. If you see him, call 911 immediately.
