Oceanside RCMP are looking for a 36-year-old woman whose van was found abandoned in Qualicum Beach.
Carmel Georgina Gilmour, 36, was last seen in Parksville on Nov. 15 in her van.
On Tuesday, RCMP received a call about a suspicious abandoned van in the beach access parking lot in the 3000-block of Highway 19A. Police determined the van belonged to Gilmour. She was not found in the area.
Gilmour is Caucasian with long brown hair, hazel eyes, five-feet-six inches tall with a medium build.
