Poodles seized by Victoria SPCA offered for adoption

Some of the 45 neglected miniature poodle-bichon frise cross dogs taken from a residence in Brentwood Bay, now at the SPCA.

Oodles of miniature poodles are available for adoption from the Victoria SPCA.

The 27 adult animals and nine puppies are among 45 poodle-bichon frise dogs seized from a Brentwood Bay home on Jan. 9.

Anyone interested in adopting one of the dogs is asked to fill out an application, available online, and either email it to victoria@spca.bc.ca or drop it off at the Victoria shelter at 3150 Napier Ln.

Staff will set up appointments with potential adopters next week, after the dogs have been spayed or neutered.

The dogs were seized after an investigation revealed the number of animals living in the home jeopardized their health and safety.
