The RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in the sudden death of a 23year-old Port Alberni woman.
Police and ambulance crews responded to a call about a woman in medical distress Oct. 21. The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance, but died three days later. The woman's name has not been released.
The RCMP are investigating what happened in the hours leading up to the ambulance call. Media liaison Const.
Shelly Schedewitz said the death does not look suspicious, but "we want to rule everything out." The woman was not known to police.
