The new wing of North Saanich Municipal Hall on Mills Road is open for business today after closing all day Friday and Monday for renovation.
The $2.5-million project is not finished yet, but what’s done “looks lovely,” said Mayor Alice Finall on Monday afternoon. “I can feel staff settling in and feeling optimistic.”
Council meetings will be held in one of the large bays of the Wain Road fire hall until the end of the year, she said, when new council chambers are expected to be ready. — Times Colonist
