Nanaimo conducts its next eTown hall meeting on Monday, examining the city’s strategic priorities, from waterfront development to increased public art to establishing a downtown sports and entertainment centre.

“It’s about having a conversation,” said Nanaimo Mayor Bill McKay.

Residents can participate in person or via email, text or social media, he said. “Staff are monitoring it all simultaneously.”

The meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shaw Auditorium at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre.
