West Shore RCMP are looking for a masked mugger who attacked a teenaged boy, saying: “I want your sh*t.”

RCMP said the 15-year-old Langford youth was sitting under the Millstream Road overpass, on the north side, about 5 p.m. on Thursday when he was attacked.

The attacker, dressed in black and wearing a black ski mask, approached the youth, made his demand and tried to steal the boy’s things. The teen managed to fight back and run away without injury.

RCMP Const. Alex Berube said police would like to speak to a woman driving by who slowed down and appeared to take a look, and may have useful information for investigators.

The victim doesn’t know the attacker’s identity.

The incident was not reported until Monday. Berube urged victims to make speedy reports to help police in their investigation.

Anyone with information should call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477).
