A man on a motorcycle has died after an incident early Sunday on the Trans-Canada Highway, according to CHEK News.
The incident happened on the highway between Cobble Hill and Fisher roads.
The victim was in his 20s and from Quebec, CHEK said. No official details were available on whether other people or vehicles were involved, but a witness reported seeing a damaged sports car at the scene.
Northbound highway lanes were closed from about 3 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. while an investigation was carried out, Drive B.C. said.
