A 15-year-old Nanaimo male reported missing by his family has been located, the RCMP reported late Friday night.
Jacobus (Jackie) Knox had been missing since Thursday.
"The Nanaimo RCMP would like to thank the various media outlets and many people of Nanaimo and elsewhere who posted Jacob’s picture to various social media sites and tweeted the story of his disappearance," said Cst Gary O'Brien in an emailed statement. "Their concern was instrumental in locating him in a timely manner."
