Comox Valley RCMP are looking for a man who disguised himself before committing a Saturday night robbery at a Subway on Cliffe Avenue in Courtenay.
A man who was either wearing a white mask or had painted his face white entered the business and demanded cash. No one was hurt.
Police did not say if the man got away with any money or if he indicated he had a weapon.
He fled on foot.
An image from surveillance video has been released. The suspect is described as in his 40s with a thin face and curly brown hair. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie, baggy cargo pants and sunglasses.
