A 25-year-old Duncan man was arrested Thursday in connection to two instances of inappropriate touching of children at the Cowichan Aquatic Centre.
Duncan/North Cowichan RCMP were called Feb. 2 after two young girls reported being touched by someone while in the pool.
Parents of young children were asked by the RCMP to keep a close eye on their children and to report anything they thought was suspicious.
Surveillance video from the facility was also examined.
The man was arrested and released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
His conditions of release include having no contact with anyone under 16 and not attending any public pools, schools or playgrounds.
The matter is still under investigation.
